A catch-all feature that is enabled for a given e-mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. Otherwise said, if you remove an email address and someone still sends an email to it, or to any miswritten address under the same domain, you will get the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you will no longer miss an email for any reason, which could be crucial if you run some business, for instance. Since you may begin receiving junk messages, you can use the catch-all feature with anti-spam filtering software in order to get only authentic messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

In case you host a domain name on our cloud platform and you’ve got a cloud hosting account, you will be able to activate the catch-all functionality for any email mailbox that you set up under the domain name. The Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section offers quite a few features, but it is surprisingly user-friendly, so creating a catch-all mailbox takes only a single click of the mouse. All the email addresses that you have will be shown in this section alphabetically and you will simply need to click on the "Catch-all" button pertaining to the concrete address. Our system will alert you if there’s already another catch-all mailbox enabled for that domain name or if the one that you want to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding enabled, so you can either turn off the latter feature or select some other mailbox. Deactivating the catch-all feature is just as easy and takes one more click on the same button.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

A catch-all email address can be created with a few clicks if you’ve got a semi-dedicated server with our company. The hosting account will be administered through our in-house created Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you will be able to create email addresses using any domain hosted there. To enable the catch-all option for a specific mailbox, you will need to click on the sign with the exact same name, which will be next to each mailbox. Deactivating the feature can be done in the exact same manner and will not require more than one click either. If the catch-all option has already been activated for a particular domain, you’ll receive a warning. The same is valid if the mailbox that you want to be a catch-all one has email forwarding enabled, as our system will never alter or deactivate any feature automatically.
