E-mail Forwarding in Cloud Hosting
If you have a cloud hosting package with us and you set up email addresses inside your account, you'll be able to forward it with only a couple of clicks to another address of your choice. The option can be enabled when you create a new email address or any time later and deactivated just as quickly in case you change your mind. This is done with the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel where you can control your account. Additionally, you will have the option to choose whether a copy of the inbound messages will stay on our servers or not. The main advantage of this feature is that you will always have a copy on your server if anything happens with the other email address or if it's not active for whatever reason at the time an email message is forwarded. When the feature not enabled, an email will be received, forwarded and deleted from our servers even if the remote email is functioning or not, so it can be quite a wise decision for it to be active just to be prepared.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Servers
For people with a semi-dedicated server from our company, it will take you just a couple of mouse clicks in the Email Manager area of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward any of the e-mail addresses set up on our server to a third-party e-mail address. In the same section you will also have the ability to see how many of your mailboxes are forwarded and exactly where the incoming messages are going. It is easy to activate or disable a forwarding account at any time and during the process you can also choose whether a backup of the email messages needs to be maintained on our servers or not. Even if this option isn't a necessity, it's very valuable because you will get a copy of the messages on our end in the event that something happens with the third-party mailbox. Even if they've got simply a short-term issue, you risk losing email messages as the moment our system gets and forwards an email, absolutely nothing will be kept on our end if you haven’t selected a copy to be kept.
